Overview
Promo Panels are a responsive tile that can link to any internal or external site / link, that can be added to any page.
Promo Panels look the best on the site in lots of 4. So it's always best to have visible in multiple of 4, you can have less / different amount, it just means there will be blank space in this part of the site.
Image Dimension
The standard image dimentions are 348 x 188 pixels.

Promo Panel Capabilities
- Link to internal and external applications

Work Instructions
- Name - Image Uploaded
- Title - Text that will be overlayed on the image in the web part
- Location - Where it links to
- Publish Date - Date to show in the webpart on the page
- Expiry Date - Date to take down from the web part on the page
- Open in new window - Yes / No
- Sort Order - Sort Order in web part
- Thumbnail - Preview of the Image Uploaded
Limitations / Considerations
If you add / want to utilise Promo Panels in any other section of the site, by default it will connect to the Promo Panels set up on the home page. If you want to connect to a new / unique list in a different part of the site, you will need to do the following:
- Add "PromoPanels" as a new app (under Site contents) in the sub site you require them.
- Fill out the new PromoPanels list
- Add "Promo Panels" web part to the page you require them
- Click Edit Web Part
- Click into Query > then Browse next to " Show items from the following list:"
- Navigate to where you added the new "PromoPanel" App and click ok.
- Wait for the page to load and then click "Ok" or "Apply" in the Edit Menu
